46th Annual Midwest/Southeast Photosynthesis Meeting
The Midwest/Southeast Photosynthesis Conference has been bringing photosynthesis researchers together for decades. A primary goal of the meeting is to provide opportunities for students and post-docs to showcase their work and have discussions with scientific colleagues to share their work in a relaxing and informal environment. Due to the unusual circumstances and considerable uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 this year, we intend to host a virtual meeting on October 23 and 24. The organizers of the meeting are looking into creative ways to maintain the spirit and sense of community that the Midwest/Southeast regional meeting is known for, while also maintaining a healthy distance!
As usual, we invite participants and contributors involved in all aspects of photosynthesis research, to attend the meeting please visit the registration page. We especially encourage research students and postdocs to submit an abstract for a talk or "virtual poster*" - it is typical for most attendees to present some element of their work. This year, in addition to featuring the work of a number of young scientists, through invited talks, we will organize breakout sessions in the spirit of poster sessions and other socialization events usually held at the meeting. Please submit your registration and talk/poster requests by September 25.
We look forward to seeing you at the 46th Midwest/Southeast Photosynthesis Conference in October!
