Register to Attend
Please make sure to follow these three steps to Register for the 46th Photosynthesis Meeting -- All Steps Should be Completed by September 25th!:
1. Register for the meeting by using this Google Form. This will be used to gather basic information about attendees, and intent to submit an Abstract.
2. Pay for meeting registration ($20 for all faculty, postdocs, and students*): filling out the registration form will trigger Chair Danny Ducat (firstname.lastname@example.org) to send you an invoice for payment via Google Pay (invoice sent within 24 hours). Alternatively, you can mail a check - see instructions below.**
3. Submit your Abstract. We encourage all attendees to submit and Abstract and prepare a "poster" (see Submit your Abstract page). Once you have registered, you may submit your Abstract any time prior to September 25, 2020.
While we sadly cannot gather this year at Turkey Run State Park, you may wish to consider donating to support the Park during these unusual times. If you find yourself missing the picturesque trails, trees, and fall colors, check out the live cam streams below. We fully intend to continue our tradition of meeting at Turkey Run in future years.
LIVE CAM LINKS:
* While we are committed to keeping the cost of the Midwest/Southeast Photosynthesis at a minimum, we are requesting a nominal fee in order to avoid spam registration and to limit spaces to those with a genuine interest in actively participating. Half of proceeds will be donated to Turkey Run State Park - while the remaining balance will be used to cover costs/fees associated with the Midwest/Southeast Photosynthesis Conference. Please consider donating to the park independently through the link above, as we have very much enjoyed our long-standing relationship with the venue. If, for any reason, this registration fee is burdensome, please contact Danny Ducat (email@example.com) to request a waiver for the fee.
** For payment, you may alternatively make a check out to "Louisiana State University", where the Meeting Account is managed. Mail these checks to:David Vinyard Department of Biological Sciences 202 Life Sciences Building Baton Rouge, LA 70803.
