Binod Basyal

I did my B.Sc. Agriculture from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and completed my Ph.D. in biology from the University of Louisville with concentration in ecology and evolution. My Ph.D. research focused on understanding arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF)-switchgrass relationship under plant-parasitic nematode and drought stresses with implications for the plant’s cell wall chemistry. With the current position, I aim to further explore the effects of the AMF-drought interactions with consequences for aboveground processes such as photosynthesis.
